This is really an awesome lesson and thank you for your detailed comments, great approach IMO.

I am trying to find out why only one shape is drawn in the map, though they are all correctly in the database, and can be modified and shown ok.

If I found out something about it I will post again.

ok the bug is gone, guess i had deleted a var keyword somehow.
