This is the worst article I have ever read. If writing tests is boring to you then you're either not doing it right, or you are an idiot.

No, you are misreading the article. The article is about reasons for the majority of developers not using TDD.

I create tests for some of my packages when it makes sense.

That point is about what many users think of creating tests every time, not necessarily what I think.
